Responsibilities

  • Coordinate technical projects, ensuring smooth information flow between development, project management, and other departments.
  • Act as a technical point of contact for clients and external service providers, guiding projects from agreement to implementation.
  • Support in calculating and preparing technical offers, contributing expertise to effort assessment and solution approaches.
  • Responsible for installation, conception, analysis, and maintenance of Oracle databases, including backup and recovery.
  • Administer and support environments related to cloud, virtualization, Linux servers, and monitoring, including 2nd and 3rd-level support.
  • Implement and optimize IT systems in client environments, perform migrations and OS modernizations, and ensure stable operation.
  • Create technical documentation, assist in drafting specifications, and support system handovers to support teams.
  • Actively participate in client presentations, workshops, and internal knowledge transfer, supporting colleagues with technical and organizational questions.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in (Business) Informatics or comparable IT education (e.g., IT specialist for system integration) with relevant professional experience.
  • Profound knowledge in Oracle databases, covering installation, conception, performance analysis, maintenance, backup, and recovery strategies.
  • Experience with cloud environments, virtualization (e.g., VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V), and Linux server administration (e.g., SLES, RHEL).
  • Proficiency in 2nd and 3rd-level support, with experience in monitoring tools and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Management).
  • Experience in migration and modernization projects, demonstrating a structured and solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to create technical documentation; experience with specifications and client offer preparation is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, service providers, and internal teams, comfortable in workshops and presentations.
  • Independent and structured work style, team-oriented, and proactive in knowledge sharing.
