PLM Developer/Architect

A skilled PLM Developer/Architect is sought to design, develop, customize, and maintain PLM applications and solutions. The role involves developing customizations using various programming languages and configuring core PLM modules. This position requires working with APIs for integrations and extending the system's capabilities. The successful candidate will also customize the user interface and develop reports, while participating in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to production support. This is a remote opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, customize, and maintain PLM applications and solutions.
  • Develop customizations using Java, J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, and XML.
  • Configure and customize PLM modules including Product Data Management, Document Management, Change Management, and Workflow.
  • Develop and customize workflows, lifecycle templates, object types, attributes, and business rules.
  • Work with PLM APIs, REST APIs, OData, and web services for integrations and extensions.
  • Develop integrations between PLM and external systems such as ERP, MES, CAD, and other enterprise applications.
  • Customize PLM UI, actions, forms, tables, and data models based on business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain PLM reports, queries, and database-related components.

Requirements

  • Experience in designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining PLM applications.
  • Proficiency in Java, J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, and XML for development.
  • Strong understanding and experience with PLM module configuration and customization.
  • Ability to develop and customize workflows, lifecycle templates, and business rules.
  • Experience with PLM APIs, REST APIs, OData, and web services.
  • Capability to integrate PLM with various external enterprise systems.
  • Adept at customizing PLM user interfaces and data models.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting application issues and performing root-cause analysis.
