Responsibilities

  • Develop new products and optimize existing systems and assemblies
  • Design machines, components, and customer-specific special solutions
  • Manage projects from the conceptual phase through to series maturity
  • Ensure compliance with cost, deadline, and quality objectives
  • Provide technical project support and coordinate with internal and external partners
  • Develop economically and technically feasible solution approaches
  • Collaborate closely with customers and various specialist departments
  • Conduct occasional customer visits and on-site technical assignments

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (FH/BSc) or equivalent qualification
  • Completed vocational training as a Design Engineer (Konstrukteur EFZ)
  • Proven experience in product development, design, or manufacturing
  • Proficient CAD skills, ideally in SolidWorks or Inventor
  • Broad technical understanding of mechanical engineering and mechatronics
  • Knowledge of various manufacturing technologies
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on economic solutions
  • Independent, structured, and quality-oriented way of working
