Senior SAP PLM Consultant

This role is for a highly motivated expert to drive digital end-to-end business process solutions for leading companies in mechanical and plant engineering, automotive, life sciences, pharma, and chemistry. The successful candidate will leverage their SAP PLM expertise in ongoing support, smaller projects, and change implementations. They will support clients in maintaining, developing, and optimizing their existing SAP solutions, focusing on analyzing and resolving incidents and complex issues. A key aspect of the role involves SAP document management and the migration of documents and associated structures.

Responsibilities

  • Support and advise clients in ongoing SAP PLM support and analyze complex problems to develop sustainable solutions.
  • Implement changes and continuously develop existing SAP solutions.
  • Independently manage smaller SAP projects, from requirements analysis to implementation.
  • Manage and optimize SAP document management and support the migration of documents and document structures.
  • Coordinate closely with clients, business departments, IT, and other SAP experts, and support testing and go-lives.

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in consulting or supporting SAP PLM.
  • Practical experience in SAP support or application management, and in implementing changes and smaller projects.
  • Profound knowledge in SAP document management and ideally experience with document and document structure migration.
  • Understanding of SAP data structures and processes, with a structured and solution-oriented approach to complex technical problems.
  • Self-reliant work style, strong customer orientation, communication skills, and willingness to take responsibility.
