Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the configuration of critical projects, ensuring the highest quality standards.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of Product Data, including Parts and Bills of Materials (BoMs).
  • Perform and lead comprehensive audits and verification of product configurations for compliance.
  • Lead the preparation and documentation required for product structure and configuration management.
  • Direct the configuration change management process, including evaluating, implementing, and tracking complex changes.
  • Collaborate with executive management, engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Maintain and manage comprehensive records and documentation related to configuration management activities.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance configuration management practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in configuration management or a related field within the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Expert proficiency with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and configuration management principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and superior documentation skills.
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
  • Ability to lead a team of Configuration Analysts.
  • Thorough understanding of Documentation Control Database systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
