PLM Applications Support Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Install PLM services and applications on Linux environments.
  • Upgrade major and minor versions of the PLM platform.
  • Automate database refreshes across multiple environments.
  • Configure reverse proxies and load balancers.
  • Analyze and improve indexing performance within the PLM system.
  • Configure file synchronization services and filestore syncing.
  • Develop new or enhanced methods and techniques to resolve problems.
  • Develop software integrations between PLM and existing database systems using Web Services, XML, and other related tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, information systems, computer science or technology related field.
  • Working knowledge of a leading PLM platform and CAD systems.
  • 6+ years of related experience.
  • 4+ years of experience with PLM applications, including integrations with ERP, CAD systems.
  • Proficiency in Java, JSP, and Windows Server Administration.
  • MS SQL knowledge to analyze slowness and database lock issues.
  • Knowledgeable on license server management.
  • Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and problems within the PLM system.
