Senior PLM Solution Consultant

A global technology company is seeking a Senior Solution Consultant to serve as a pivotal technical and subject-matter expert for PLM solutions. This role involves collaborating closely with sales teams and partners to provide pre-sales technical leadership, articulating and validating the business value of solutions for complex design and data-management challenges. The consultant will engage with clients to understand their requirements, investigate current business processes, and present tailored solutions to various organizational levels. The position focuses on driving sales opportunities and ensuring successful adoption and expansion of solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients to understand their requirements and pain points.
  • Investigate current business processes to identify problems and inefficiencies.
  • Present solutions to different levels of a client's organization, from executives to technical staff.
  • Use personally configured demonstration environments to showcase solutions.
  • Translate technical capabilities into value propositions that resonate with client pain points.
  • Respond to RFIs/RFPs in a concise and thoughtful manner.
  • Support the sales team in the execution of the sales lifecycle, particularly in early sales qualification/prove stages.
  • Collaborate with local and global teams to share best practices and market information.

Requirements

  • Possess comprehensive engineering & discrete manufacturing process knowledge.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of presales engineering and/or implementation of complex software solutions.
  • Proficient in PLM and related technologies, with the ability to explain and demonstrate solutions.
  • Experience with specific PLM products or similar solutions is a plus.
  • Knowledge of programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Go, Python) is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Web systems (HTTP, HTML, CSS, REST API) and basic operating systems (e.g., Linux).
  • Knowledge of Azure Services, AI frameworks, ERP, CRM, FSM systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to understand technical configurations and customizations, and create customized, live demos.
