Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain scalable data pipelines connecting enterprise applications and engineering systems.
  • Establish the architecture for a centralized enterprise data lake or lakehouse.
  • Build ingestion and transformation workflows for batch and event-driven use cases.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with SAP ERP and Siemens Teamcenter PLM.
  • Design data storage layers for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
  • Implement monitoring, error handling, and automated recovery for pipeline reliability.
  • Collaborate with application owners to harmonize data from heterogeneous systems.
  • Establish data quality checks, lineage tracking, and metadata management practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or enterprise data integration.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL for production-quality pipelines.
  • Extensive experience integrating relational databases, APIs, and enterprise applications.
  • Proven experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data orchestration workflows.
  • Knowledge of modern data platform architectures like data lakes or lakehouses.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and common data exchange patterns.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices.
  • Ability to understand complex enterprise data models and business processes.
