Lead Cloud Technical Architect - Windchill

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of PLM Technical Architects across the EMEA region.
  • Provide technical leadership for Windchill and related PLM cloud environments.
  • Guide teams in conducting Technical System Assessments (TSAs), health checks, and architectural evaluations.
  • Review customer architectures, integrations, customizations, and deployment strategies.
  • Support critical customer escalations and resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Partner with Cloud Operations and Infrastructure teams to improve service reliability and automation.
  • Identify recurring operational issues and lead root-cause analysis efforts.
  • Communicate technical risks and strategic roadmaps to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience implementing, supporting, or architecting enterprise PLM solutions.
  • 3+ years of people management experience leading technical teams.
  • Strong experience with PTC Windchill or comparable enterprise PLM platforms.
  • Experience working in cloud-hosted environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and systems analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a global environment.
  • Fluent English language skills; German language proficiency is advantageous.
