Windchill PLM Consultant

A consultant is sought to support the customization, configuration, integration, and administration of a client's PLM environments. This role involves supporting development activities for system upgrades, deploying specific modules, and developing interfaces to various enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining and enhancing the client's product lifecycle management capabilities. This is a contract position with expected travel.

Responsibilities

  • Support customization, configuration, integration, and administration of PLM environments.
  • Support development activities for system upgrades.
  • Deploy specific modules and process plans within the PLM system.
  • Develop PLM interfaces to enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, MES, part library).
  • Install modules, run upgrade managers, and execute system administration tasks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in PLM configuration, customization, and data migration.
  • Experience delivering 3+ end-to-end PLM implementation and data migration projects.
  • Experience with CAD data migration for a specific CAD system.
  • Experience configuring PLM versions 13.x and 14.x, including business configuration, change management, workflows, process plans, and BOM management.
  • Experience integrating PLM with downstream systems (e.g., ERP, MES).
  • Experience developing or supporting PLM technical solutions using Java, J2EE, JavaScript, and XML.
  • Experience reviewing or supporting PLM code, integration configurations, and various scripts across environments.
