Responsibilities

  • Nurture professional growth and foster a collaborative team culture.
  • Grow the team by shaping hiring profiles and integrating external engineers.
  • Ensure genuine accountability for embedded, app, and cloud experiences.
  • Oversee structural integrity and consistent user experience across devices.
  • Define application-level APIs and manage cross-team dependencies.
  • Synchronize with Product Management to prioritize features and technical debt.
  • Lead the team through transitions with a clear vision and drive improvements.
  • Stay close to the code for high-impact reviews and architectural challenges.

Requirements

  • Experience leading engineering teams, including specialists outside own discipline.
  • Strong background as a software engineer with full-stack breadth (embedded, backend, or mobile).
  • Ability to advocate for modular, flexibly extendable, loosely coupled architectures.
  • Act as a bridge between engineering and product strategy.
  • Solid experience with software platforms and their architecture (Linux, Git, GitLab, CI/CD).
  • Champion lean structures and solve complex problems with simple, elegant solutions.
  • Agile, empathetic, and creative work style.
  • Confident communication in professional English.
