Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and expand the service and tool portfolio for a data transformation platform.
  • Conceptualize and implement new functionalities within the proprietary Data Conversion Suite.
  • Set up and execute integration and unit tests to ensure software reliability.
  • Identify optimization potential and resolve bugs to maintain high product quality.
  • Transfer project-specific solutions into standardized product designs and templates.
  • Monitor product security and performance continuously, taking ad-hoc measures as needed.
  • Collaborate with transformation business units and external partners on technical requirements.
  • Standardize existing processes and optimize development workflows.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
  • Extensive experience in SAP ABAP development.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming (ABAP OO or Java).
  • Experience in SAP data migration, specifically table-based migration, is highly preferred.
  • Analytical and solution-oriented mindset with a structured way of working.
  • Strong communication skills in both German and English.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and develop within a team environment.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical software architecture.
