Configit develops configuration lifecycle management (CLM) software. Its core idea is that product variability should be described once, in a single enterprise configuration model, and reused by every downstream process — sales configurators, engineering BOMs, manufacturing, and service — instead of being maintained separately in CPQ, PLM, and ERP. Configit Ace is built on the company's Virtual Tabulation technology for real-time handling of very large rule sets, and is used mainly by automotive, machinery, and high tech manufacturers with complex option structures.
