Kingdee PLM is the product development module of Kingdee's Cloud Cosmic platform, designed to run on the same data model as Kingdee ERP, MES, and supply chain applications. It manages drawings and technical documents, item master data, engineering and manufacturing BOMs, process routings, engineering change orders, and R&D project delivery, with CAD integrations that generate items and BOMs directly from assemblies. Typical deployments target equipment manufacturers and automotive suppliers that need APQP-style project templates, design-change propagation into purchasing and production, and a single source of product data shared with finance and manufacturing. Adoption is concentrated in China and Southeast Asia, including Chinese manufacturers scaling operations abroad.
