Mars PLM is a modular PLM software developed by Avvale PLM S.r.l., an Italian PLM consultancy within the Avvale Group headquartered in Milan. First released in October 2019, it extends SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC with a visual, collaborative workspace for managing the full product lifecycle, running natively inside SAP with no middleware. Its modules cover BOM management with automatic EBOM/MBOM synchronization (BOM Advanced Tool), engineering change management with structured ECR/ECO workflows (Product Change Hub), document and CAD management (Product Knowledge Hub), product costing and prototyping, and material master governance, plus integration to SAP's digital supply chain network. Mars PLM targets mid-sized and large discrete and process manufacturers in industries such as automotive, aerospace and defense, industrial machinery, high-tech and electronics, medical devices, chemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and consumer goods.
